The Spirit Foundation

S.E Asia has some of the most beautiful and captivating indigenous tribes in the world. Their world-view of the Forest is a model of the Cosmos and their life a web to harmonize with it. In 2006 Jacob set up The Spirit Foundation to help these indigenous forest tribes retain their cultural beliefs in shamanism and fight the Western Missionaries wrecking havoc on these beliefs.

Some of his work was to support the many female shamans, who, governed by the moon, were often overlooked in an otherwise male dominated patriarchal society.
